No cookie cutters here … if you are looking for a dime a dozen answer, read somebody’s blog or attend a webinar. We do not believe in shortcuts at F5.

There are no idea killers to innovation

Too often the answers are: “We’ve never done that before,” “It’s out of scope,” or “That never works.” Although these statements might be true, we don’t believe in stamping out ideas until they have been investigated. After all, sometimes tracing out a bad idea can lead to a great one that you wouldn’t have found otherwise.

Recommendations pale in comparison to action

Deliverables, recommendations or audits – Whatever name is used, a 50 page document or a nice slide deck is of no use if there is no action following it.

Focus everything on the audience and you cannot go wrong

It’s Marketing 101 because it has been and always will be true.

You cannot be successful without respecting and building on the people around you

We may not always agree or even like the people around us (we’re human after all), but we will always respect the people around us, because no matter what, two people together can always do more than one.

It is better to do right than be popular

At F5 we would rather do interesting and exciting things with a few people than try and complete easy money makers for a lot of people. Success can come from exceptional service, not just serving masses.
